As we all emerge from the pandemic storm shelters and thank our lucky stars that we are in an industry where we benefit, the more people we are able to help. I hope this finds you healthy NAIFA-Minnesota! Like everything out there, NAIFA-Minnesota is roaring back and excited to start meeting face-to-face over the next few months. We’ve got a number of fun and educational events for everyone!
NAIFA is founded on the importance of Advocating for the Insurance and Financial Advisor. It doesn’t matter what your discipline is, or what insurance carrier you represent, we advocate for you the advisor and your client. The client on Main Street, not Wall Street. In May, we typically fly to Washington DC to meet with our elected officials and get them to listen to the active issues for Advisors and our Clients. This year, May 25th and 26th, we will be attending NAIFA's Congressional Conference virtually. Big time guests like Senator Tim Scott will be presenting to NAIFA. Make sure you sign up.
Socially, we need to learn to hangout again! We’ve got the BEST opportunity for that. We are going to get together for outdoor concerts, drink beer and eat hot dogs! All of this is included in your NAIFA membership, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone. The first Backyard Concert Series will be Journey on June 23rd! “Don’t Stop….Believing!” Let us know you'll be there - RSVP Here!
Also, mark your calendars for July 21st and the grand finale Backyard Concert Series on August 25th with the local cover band that has taken the Cities by storm; 6 Feet Apart. It will be great to hear Live music again.
Finally, mark your calendars for August 4th. We have a Collaborative meeting with FSP that is slated to include 4 hours of CE and a social hour to follow. This will be available both in person and virtually. Keep a look out for details.
